Building a business online is much like building a business offline - it takes a lot of work and also some money to get started (but much less money online than offline).

If you have browsed the Internet for a while you probably have seen some 'get rich overnight' offers and promises to earn thousands of dollars in just a week (even without doing anything) if you only join their program.

Just don't believe in those fairytales, it's not true. The only way to get rich overnight is to win the lottery!

That said, it really is possible to make money with your own online (home) business (and some people really have got rich on the internet), but be aware that it takes time and effort to build your business and get to the point when it becomes profitable.

As in any (online or offline) business, you'll have to do some investment to get your business up and go and start earning you some money. Be prepared to invest both time, work and money. But as opposed to an offline business it's possible to start an online business on a very small

budget.

Do realize that it will take some time before you can start watching the money pouring into your bank account (anything worthwhile takes time to build!). Be patient - give yourself three to six months to build your business and give it a solid and sound foundation; then the money

will come.

Here is what you need in order to succeed:

      - patience (give yourself the time it takes)

      - perseverance (keep it going, don't give up)

      - focus (stay with your business and make the leap)

      - dedication (fall in love with your business!)

      - work and effort (nothing comes by itself)

If you are a newbie at online business you'll have a few things to learn. That's one of the reasons why it's sensible to take your time and not to rush into "the unknown wilderness" and get lost!

My best advice: choose one business that you believe in and stick to it! Don't jump from one opportunity to the other and fall down between them and break your neck! As I said, building a business takes time and work, so just don't believe in the offers that promise you heaps of money for doing nothing!
